When someone leaves the ground, every knot, every line, and every piece of hardware matters. Yet much of the gear used in rope suspension today, was never safely designed for it. Many riggers in our community are unknowingly using unrated hardware from questionable origins, or mass-produced, non-aesthetic rigging plates from the climbing world. Using unrated gear for something as intimate and inherently dangerous as suspension, is a risk worth considering (whether your a rope top or bottom).

 

At Subspace Designs, we believe suspension hardware should be undeniably strong.​

We're the only suspension ring manufacturer engineering designs and ensuring strength through 3rd party break-testing. We utilize FEA (Finite Element Analysis) during the design process to ensure that rings surpass safety standards (even those of climbing gear). But safety is only part of the story. 

 

Suspension is art and the gear you use should reflect that. We put a lot of pride into making unique designs that are guaranteed to turn heads; just like your art does. Every piece we create starts with careful design and precision machining, built with the strength needed for the task. We create suspension hardware that is engineered, tested, and made to support both the safety and the beauty of suspension. Because when someone is in the air, the gear they rely on should be undeniably strong.
